Join Our Team

SCFF is run by a team of enthusiastic and committed volunteers and we would love you to join us to make our annual event the best it can be.

We’ve identified some roles which have distinct titles, but please contact us if you think you have other skills to offer, or want to combine roles to suit your skills.

We may invite you for a conversation (in person or via Zoom) bfore you commit to giving your time.

All roles operate on a voluntary basis; out of pocket expenses (such as travel) will be reimbursed in agreement with the festival directors.

  • Applicants do not have to live in Sheffield although it may be beneficial for some roles.

  • Many roles do not need to be filled by practicing Christians, but we ask that all volunteers respect the Christian ethos of our organisation.

  • Depending on role, volunteers will get benefits such as free or discounted access to the event (usually October), reduced price refreshments, or buffet lunch during the event.
