Join Our Team

SCFF is run by a team of enthusiastic and committed volunteers and we would love you to join us to make our annual event the best it can be.

We’ve identified some roles but please contact us if you think you have other skills to offer, or feel that you could pick up bits from a few different roles. We’ve written approximate time-frames, as some roles are needed year-round and others only in the lead-up to the event, and we’d suggest 1-3 hours per week for each role approximately.

We may invite you for an interview (in person or via Zoom) depending on the role you’re interested in.

All roles operate on a voluntary basis currently, out of pocket expenses (such as travel) will be reimbursed in agreement with the festival directors.

  • Applicants do not have to live in Sheffield although it may be beneficial for some roles.

  • Many roles do not need to be filled by practicing Christians but we ask that all volunteers respect the Christian ethos of our organisation.

  • Depending on role, volunteers will get benefits such as free or discounted access to the event (usually October), reduced price refreshments, or buffet lunch during the event.
