What does contemporary interest in superhero movies tell us about the way in which narratives of salvation and saviours continue to have significance in our Post Christendom culture?

Rev’d Dr Mark Vasey-Saunders is a tutor at St Hild College, teaching doctrine, ethics, and mission, and has an interest in questions of culture and formational narratives in church and world. He has watched more superhero movies than is good for anyone.
